OACHE Statement of Faith

1. We believe there is One true God revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, who are eternally existent.

2. The Bible is the only infallible, inerrant, and inspired Word of God and is the final authority for all faith and life.

3. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension, and in His bodily return in power and glory.

4. We believe man was created in the image of God but fell into sin and therefore is lost, and only those who put their faith in Jesus Christ alone can be saved from eternal separation from God.

5. We believe the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to convict mankind of sin, righteousness, and judgment, to regenerate, sanctify, baptize, comfort, indwell and empower the believer for Godly living and service.

6. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers through our common faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and that individual doctrinal differences which may exist, outside of the aforementioned, should not hinder the unity of Christian home educators.
